Welcome to the European Summer School on Physical Acoustics and its applications
The European Summer School on Physical Acoustics and its applications will take place in Cargèse (Corsica) from September16th-20th 2024. Participants are expected to arrive on September 15th and depart on September 21th in the morning.
The summer school contains a rich technical program starting from the basics of ultrasound through different specialty fields including radiation forces, streaming, holograms, and bubble dynamics. Alongside courses on these fundamentals, we will offer daily “Hot Topic” seminars that will cover current cutting-edge research topics in physical acoustics. Unique to our summer school is the inclusion of experimental demos and numerical tutorial sessions, which are geared towards giving participants hands-on skills that they can then bring back and use in their own research. Additionally, we have incorporated time for early-career attendees to present their work in short presentations and an evening ‘pint of science’ poster session.

Poster session, tutorials and young researcher talks
A "pint-of-science" poster session will be organized on Tuesday in the late afternoon. We encourage the participants to prepare a poster and share their lastest work with the community.
Several young researcher talks will be scheduled throughout the week. Please complete the relevant section in the registration form if you wish to present. A short abstract (1/2 to 1 page) will be asked by the organizing committee.
